The general objective of this study was to analyze the competitive factors to propose strategies aimed at strengthening marketing for the competitiveness of cattle farming in the province of Atalaya, Ucayali for the period 2019 - 2020. In order to meet the stated objective, a non-experimental cross-sectional and empirical investigation was designed in which the independent variables are not manipulated because they have already happened before. As techniques, observation and surveys were used, taking the ranchers of the province of Atalaya from its 4 districts as the target population, finally sampling a number of 100 ranchers. For practical purposes, this sample was made because the livestock areas are far from each other and the means of transport are not optimal. The results made it possible to study the production and commercialization of the Atalaya ranchers, which is still incipient since the intervention of the public and private sectors is low. Apart from the results, it was possible to evaluate the competitive factors of: technical assistance, technology, associativity, knowledge and access to the market, which measure the competitiveness of the activity in the study area. And, finally, it was possible to determine the relationship of competitive factors with competitive strategies. Based on the results, it was possible to formulate strategies that help improve the profitability of Atalaya ranchers and consequently lead to livestock activity being competitive both locally and nationally.
