The aim purpose of this study is to assess the impact of the International Year of Quinoa (2013) on the dynamics of production and grain market in Peru to identify prospective alternative scenarios in producing regions (Altiplano, Interandean Valleys and Coast-Yunga) in order to contribute to the strategic vision of quinoa per year 2 021. First, The three areas is identified and the evolution of production and market variables was evaluated related during period 1 993-2 014, in Altiplano and Interandean Valleys always had production but directed to subsistence, the Coast-Yunga is a new producing area with more dynamism and orientation of production to market signals. Second, the social impact was assessed using surplus producer and consumer in 2 011- 2014 found that social welfare is increased in the three regions and in the 2014 - 2015 would reduce the social surplus for the contraction in prices, however, Puno increase their welfare. Third, with respect to future change factors that have arisen from the “International Year of Quinoa”, with the qualitative information and using projection methods of quantitative economic variables identified, various scenarios of the future for the production, export and domestic supply, the important factors determining the organization and specialization of ancestral producing regions, and they could be favored by the appellation of “Andean Quinoa of Peru “ and further diversify its offering, with greater added value to the market domestic and exportable. Finally, it arise the prospective vision by productive regions at the celebration of the Bicentennial of the Independence of Peru
