The objective of the study was to determine the composition and nutrition of the species of natural and cultivated pastures during two seasons in the Pachacayo farm of the SAIS “Túpac Amaru“ located in the province of Jauja, Junín. The condition of the pasture was good during the rainy season for sheep and alpacas and during the dry season it was fair. The nutritional composition of native grasses in the species Calamagrostis vicunarum during the dry season was higher for CP (7.49 percent) and during the rainy season it was higher for Ca (0.436 percent). Likewise, the species Festuca dolichophylla during the rainy season was higher for P (0.321 percent). The botanical composition of grasses cultivated during the rainy season for grasses and legumes were 68.14 percent and 31.86 percent, respectively. Likewise, the botanical composition during the dry season for grasses and legumes were 64.19 percent and 35.81 percent, respectively. The nutritional composition in cultivated pastures (legumes) in the Trifolium pratense species during the rainy season was higher for CP (18.80 percent). Likewise, during the dry season it was higher for Ca (2.793 percent). In the species Trifolium repens during the rainy season it was higher for P (0.484 percent). The nutritional composition of cultivated pastures (grasses) in the Dactylis glomerata species during the rainy season was higher for CP (16.98 percent) and P (0.557 percent). Likewise, during the dry season it was higher for Ca (2.793 percent).
