The main objective of this research was to describe the relationship between the level of financial culture and the credit rating of the partners with micro and small business credit in the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Santo Domingo de Guzmán, Sicuani- 2020. They raised specific objectives such as: Identify the level of financial culture of the partners; and identify the credit rating of the partners, describe the relationsship between the level of financial knowledge and credit rating; describe the relationship between the level of financial behavior and credit rating; and describe the relationship between financial attitude level and credit rating. The research is pertinent because it contributes in the area of personal finance, and relevant because the results provide accurate information that will contribute to the actions to be followed to improve the financial capacities of the partners. To pose the problem, the behavior and financial decision-making of the partners was observed. Over time, people have been facing financial problems due to poor management of their personal finances and this leads to contracting short debts. or long-term in financial institutions and many times when not being able to assume they continue to resort to different financial institutions which causes them an over-indebtedness causing them to lose their ability to pay. It is on this problem that the theories that support this research were sought and reviewed and it was considered as a study background “Financial Education as a Basis for Making Personal Investment Decisions“. Author: (Olin Gutierrez, 2014). Autonomous University of Querétaro Mexico. Faculty of Accounting and Administration, whose results show that nine out of ten respondents consider that financial education influences their investment decisions. This study emphasizes the importance of imparting financial education not only to the study population, but also in general; as a national antecedent we have “The Level of Financial Culture in the Merchants of the San José International Market of the City of Juliaca base ii and iii - 2015“. Author: (Mamani, 2016) from the Universidad Peruana Unión - Juliaca. whose results show that the majority of merchants present an average level of financial literacy with (47.8%); and as Local antecedent “Level of Financial Culture of Merchants of the Vinocanchon Market of the District of San Jerónimo, Year 2018“. Author: Bach. Julia Zuñiga Moreano, to obtain the professional title of Public Accountant. The results of which show that merchants have a level of regular financial culture, in terms of their dimensions they have regular knowledge, regular behavior and a positive attitude. From this reality arises the research problem: What is the relationship between the level of financial culture and the credit rating of partners with micro and small business credit in the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Santo Domingo de Guzmán, Sicuani Agency - 2020. The methodology of this research is basic with a quantitative approach, of a non-experimental cross-sectional design, with a descriptive scope. For the information gathering, an instrument developed by the OECD was used, which is designed to measure the financial capabilities of individuals and is widely recognized worldwide. A simple random probability sample was established for data processing and analysis, the Excel software package and descriptive statistics were used. The results show that it is concluded that there is a significant relationship between the level of financial culture and the credit classification of the partners with micro and small business credit in the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Santo Domingo de Guzmán, Sicuani Agency - 2020.
