The Peruvian food container and packaging company (EPEEA) currently has constant growth in the industry, with an increasingly broad and, in turn, more demanding commercial portfolio. EPEEA offers innovative products in Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PET) and cardboard materials of excellent quality. Currently, it is present in five business lines or divisions such as: mass consumption, industrial, agro-industrial, self-service and direct (fast food) (EPEEA, 2021). As part of its global strategy, during the year it has been directing its efforts towards sustainability, relying on innovation, focusing on three main objectives: i) sustainable packaging; ii) recycling and iii) corporate governance. In the first chapters, with the objective of having a global vision of aspects of the environment, the macroenvironment and microenvironment will be analyzed. Following chapters will deepen the analysis of critical processes to identify the main problems of the company ending with the project proposal for improvement or solution. Likewise, during the development of the work, all the processes throughout the supply chain have been analyzed, making use of study tools to identify the main problems that the Company currently has. Then, with the objective of establishing the improvement proposal, three methodologies have been applied: Demand forecast in the supply chain, Aggregate planning in the supply chain and Sales and operations planning (S&OP). Finally, through a comparative analysis and cost-benefit evaluation of the three methodologies, the most appropriate one will be selected: implementation of the S&OP. Its application brought three major results: increased sales, lower costs and process efficiency.
