The main objective of the following research work is to demonstrate the viability of the market, technical, social, environmental and economic-financial for the implementation of a production plant of biodegradable bags with hermetic closure made from polylactic acid biopolymer for 5 years. Therefore, it is necessary to elaborate the Market Study focused on the population of the city of Lima Metropolitana of socioeconomic levels A, B and C. Likewise, marketing, advertising and promotion policies are considered in accordance with the target market. In the same way, the determining factors for the location of the plant, technology, machinery and equipment are evaluated, in order to generate synergies throughout the supply chain, which will focus on the modern channel for distribution. The project will have as its base of operations the district of Lurín in the city of Lima, with an installed capacity of 280 994 kg per year. Likewise, this will have the general management, the area of Administration and Finance, Sales and Production. The seventh chapter entitled budgets and project evaluation will aim to evaluate topics such as short and long-term investments, production costs, materials, and labor. With these, operational and financial budgets will be prepared to provide economic and financial evaluations to obtain ratios or indicators of viability. From the economic evaluation, a positive NPV of S / 275 137 and an IRR of 16%. Similarly, for the financial evaluation, a positive NPV of S / 308 589 and an IRR of 18%. From both evaluations, the ability to generate income is verified based on the accumulated current value generated against the investment. Finally, in the eighth chapter, the benefit that society will obtain from the project through social indicators will be found and interpreted.
