The following project consists of the installation of a production plant for frozen- breaded pota rings. The project was born from the idea that in Peru the pota (Dosidicus gigas) is an abundant and undervalued resource in the national market. After researching about it, it was reaffirmed that most of the finished products are generally destined for the international market, leaving aside the domestic market. Once the market study was completed, it was obtained that the purchase intention, an indicator used to identify whether the product will be accepted in the target market, is 80,30% of the target population. At the same time, another indicator evaluated was purchase intensity, which objectively indicates how sure the target population would be purchasing this product, representing 69,60%. Subsequently, it was decided to use the factor ranking method to determine the best strategic location of the plant of this project based on established parameters, concluding that Callao is the best location for this. To obtain the technology and the production process to be used, the continuous line model installed within the Technological Institute of Production (TIP) and other models from previous studies that will be cited in this study were taken as a reference. Similarly, the information to have the most appropriate organizational chart for a company that was just beginning to operate with our characteristics was obtained from theses available in the library of the University of Lima and the consultancy of our advisor. Finally, when analyzing the economic-financial part, the project obtained a positive profitability with an NPV of S/ 720 397 and an IRR of 37,77%. Another aspect to evaluate were the social indicators to determine our social impact on the environment.
