This research work will detail the studies that are necessary for the installation of a recycled PET plastic processing plant, with the proposal of converting it into polyester fiber for making blankets with this same material. The first chapter will include the general aspects of the research, that is, the sources that give rise to the project to establish its relevance and impact of this. As a result, we get to know the consequences and benefits of carrying out the project, as well as other research carried out by different authors that will serve as a reference for the development. The following chapter will present the detail of the calculation for estimating demand. After establishing the first points, the necessary research for the production operation begins, starting with the location of the plant based on current regulations and other characteristics required of it, such as proximity to the market and permits required according to the proposals. Following this, and with the prior demand estimation, the plant size required will be calculated. Likewise, in the fifth chapter we will have the step-by-step detail of the production process and technical characteristics of the final product to be obtained. As part of the detail, the machines and equipment that are required in capacity and quantity are also included, so that we can comply with the maximum annual production based on the demand estimation without oversizing the plant. Finally, in the last chapters will show the administrative organization of the company, required personnel, and environmental and economic considerations. In the latter, it is expected to obtain a positive flow for investment, being this the main objective of the investigation based on the costs of production and analysis of the investments according to the terrain, machines and equipment, as well as the personnel detailed in the previous chapters.
