According to García (2018), manager of the Foreign Trade Center at the Lima Chamber of Commerce, indicates that there is a worldwide trend of acquiring products based on Peruvian grains such as quinoa, tara, chia, kiwicha, among others; motivated by the choice to buy groceries that offer greater benefit to the body. Accordingly, a pre-feasibility study was carried out for the installation of a production plant for wheat flour, quinoa and kiwicha pasta, in order to take advantage of the opportunity to satisfy such consumption. The product would be focused on people who live in Metropolitan Lima between 15 and 59 years old with SES A and B who seek to consume healthy foods. According to this segmentation, it was determined that the expected annual demand will be 846,542 500-gram bagged spaghetti pasta with an introductory price to the final consumer of S / .5 and to intermediaries (supermarkets and health food stores) of S / .3.53. The production plant would be located in Lurín, Lima due to the convenience of less distance to the stores from the stores, low rental cost and better access to transit routes. The maximum size of this would allow to produce 423,271 kg / year, limited by the size-market relationship. In addition, the plant should have a size of 872 m2 that would cover the administrative and operational area of the company. To carry out the project, an investment of S /. 933,887.71 soles approximately, supported by a financial institution and own capital. The economic results would indicate a NPV of S /. 927,882.22 and an IRR of 38.89% with a cost benefit of S / .1.99. On the other hand, the financiers, a NPV of S /. 532,773.46 and an IRR of 36.97% with a cost benefit of S / .1.95; Thus, it is possible to recover the investment in more than 2 years, this being profitable, supported by the sensitivity analysis of the project. In addition, its execution will allow to support the residents of Lurín and suppliers of inputs from Ayacuchco and Lima, generating greater income with the work that would be created when starting the production of pasta made of wheat flour, quinoa and kiwicha.
