This present pre feasibility study arises thanks to the analysis of the problem. The proposed solution is based on the use of alternative materials that counteract the excessive felling of trees and the release of plastics applied to the elaboration of ecological desks. These have plastic wood as an innovative raw material, which is made up of recycled plastic and waste from wood industries. The target market of the project is Lima Metropolitana, where people between the ages of 25 and 55 from socioeconomic levels B and C are considered interested in ecological products, which represent 29,21% of the city's population. For the location of the plant, the availability of the raw material and the proximity to the target market were the most important points to determine the macro-location, on the other hand, for the micro-location the availability of land was considered as a critical point. Through this analysis the best place for the company’s plant is the department is Lima, Lurín district. The plant will have an installed capacity of 20 488 units per year and a calculated production of 17 161 units to serve the market with a sale price of 255 PEN per unit. As a marketing strategy we will have two business models, these will be B2B, to offer the product through retailers such as Sodimac, Maestro and Ripley, and B2C to sell online directly to customers. The investment required is 1 052 723,16 PEN for which 60% will be finance and 40% will be own capital. Finally, for the financial evaluation, the project results in a positive NPV both in the economic and financial scenario of 1 073 763,31 PEN and 1 183 225,11 PEN respectively. In addition, an economic IRR of 45,24% and a financial IRR of 70,52% with 3 years of recovery period.
