The study proposes the implementation of a digital transformation model to enhance the release times of goods in Peruvian air customs. This is in response to the challenges faced by traditional customs processes, which often lead to considerable delays and additional costs for logistics operators and importing companies. To enhance the efficiency and transparency of procedures, tools such as Blockchain are utilized. Blockchain is considered an important element for the security of the administrative system. Its application automates and streamlines the verification of documents and authorization. Similarly, the BPM tool optimizes and standardizes processes by identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Establishing a communication plan can facilitate the dissemination of relevant information to various stakeholders, including employees, freight forwarders, importers, and exporters. The use of these tools allowed for a simulation using Arena software and the identification of essential indicators for the research. In conclusion, thanks to the simulation, the proposed project was able to reduce the goods release time by 200 hours, which meant the elimination of 74.32% of the time used for repetitive processes and delays.
