Estudio de prefactibilidad para la instalación de una fábrica de bolitas de chocolate con relleno de frutos del bosque

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la factibilidad económica, financiera, social y de mercado para una planta procesadora de bolitas de chocolate orgánico al 65% (bitter) de cacao, rellena de frutos del bosque (arándanos y frambuesas). Se busca satisfacer a personas mayores de 18 años de niveles socioeconómicos A y B en el mercado de Lima Metropolitana. Se obtuvo una demanda del proyecto para el primer año de 978 049 bolsitas de 100g (97,8 t). El producto será distribuido a diversos supermercados para su posterior venta al cliente final. A través del análisis de localización se determinó que la planta será ubicada en el departamento de Lima y en el distrito de Ventanilla. El área de la fábrica abarca un espacio de 2220 m2. Se realizó un análisis del impacto ambiental producto de la implementación del proyecto, y se diseñó una estructura organizacional que se adapta a los requerimientos de las áreas necesarias para el funcionamiento de la compañía. Para llevar a cabo el presente proyecto se requiere de una inversión de S/5 197 593,03 de la cual el 50% será financiada por un préstamo a 5 años. Finalmente, a través de los cálculos económicos y financieros se determinó un Valor Actual Neto Financiero de S/2 594 643,13 y una Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR) de 48,05%. Al obtener un VAN positivo y una TIR mayor al Costo de Oportunidad se confirma que será un proyecto rentable y conveniente.

The present study aims to determine the economic, financial, social and market feasibility for an organic dark (bitter) chocolate processing plant with a berry filling (blueberry and raspberry). The target audience for this project are individuals over 18 years old that belong to the A/B social economic levels that are currently living in the city of Lima. The project demand for the first year was forecasted in 978 049 bags of 100grams each (97,8 t). The proposed product will be distributed to the supermarkets to be later sold to the final consumer. Through a thorough analysis, considering various factors, it was determined to establish the factory in Lima, in the district of Ventanilla. The area of the factory is 2220 m2. An environmental impact analysis was made to evaluate the effects during the execution of the project. The organizational structure was designed considering the requirements for the factory to operate successfully. To be able to execute the project, it's necessary to have an initial investment of S/5 197 593,03, which 50% will be financed through a 5 year loan. Finally, through the economic and financial analysis, the Net Present Value and Internal Rate Return resulted in S/2 594 643,13 and 48,05% respectively. Obtaining a positive NPV and having an IRR greater than the Opportunity Cost, indicates a profitable and convenient project.
