This work will evaluate the economic, technological, social and commercial feasibility of implementing a factory dedicated to producing iron-rich cookies based on bovine blood flour to prevent anemia in women of childbearing age and school children. In chapter one, the current context is analyzed, providing a development of the problem found, anemia, in Peru. In addition, the environment is described, the relevance of the topic is justified and important concepts are defined. In chapter two, the characteristics of the market are detailed, such as possible competitors, providers or those involved. It also estimates the potential demand and calculates the demand for the project, which amounts to 6,098,811 packages of cookies. In chapter three, options for the location of the production plant are evaluated considering macro and micro environment factors. Finally, it is found that the optimal location for this plant is Metropolitan Lima. In chapter four, we determine what is the limitation for the size of the plant. This is fixed by the size of the market in the last year of the project, for which it ascends to 6,366,483 packages of cookies rich in iron. In chapter five, the engineering involved in the project is developed. This covers the technical specifications of the product, the technology and machinery, the production process, the regulatory and quality guidelines and the impact generated. In chapter six, the characteristics and constitution of the company are presented. In addition, chapter 7 analyzes the profitability of the project, which has a financial NPV of S/. 3,136,956, a financial IRR of 39.35% and a benefit-cost ratio of 2.15. The total investment required is calculated, which amounts to S/. 4,819,981 and the operating budgets are detailed. Finally, chapter 8 presents a social analysis of the project.
