In the following work we seek to apply the knowledge, concepts, tools and methodologies taught in the industrial engineering career, translating them into a pre-feasibility study for the commercialization and production of bamboo lens frames. These frames are aimed at the Metropolitan Lima market, specifically for sectors A and B, with an age range of 13 years and older. It is worth mentioning that the product will be sold at a price of 350 soles per unit. The plant is located in the department of Lima in the district of Lurín. The maximum production capacity was identified as 18,564 units per year, with the carving operation as a bottleneck. For the financial and economic analysis, an investment of 1,421,430 soles was made, having a 60% loan from an external entity. A 5-year horizon was estimated for the project, and it is estimated that a financial NPV of 957,437 soles would be obtained, a financial IRR of 56.98%, a benefit-cost ratio of 2.68 soles, and a recovery period of 2 ,61 years to demonstrate the profitability and feasibility of the study. Finally, an added value of 5,471,127 soles for the product and a capital density of 109,340 soles per employee were determined.
