This study arises because of the interest in promoting the transformation of mineral raw materials, the main component of Peru's GDP, such as copper. This project will develop in the first chapters the general aspects that the product must have and the studies to review to have an adequate theoretical support. In addition to this, a market and location study for the implementation of a production plant for copper cables coated with PVC (Building Wire). Obtaining that there will be a demand for 3.2 million rolls of 100-meter cable for a plant located in Lurín. Followed by the calculation of the plant size, identifying the raw material size as the limitation for the continuity of the project. Furthermore, the research thoroughly reviews production processes from copper melting to copper wire production to obtain a quality product that reaches international standards. After that, the administrative structure of the project company will be defined by reviewing the appropriate job positions. Finally, an economic and financial analysis will be performed, obtaining a financial NPV and IRR of S/ 52 777 721 and 29.15% respectively, Cost Benefit of 2.198 and Recovery Period of 8 years for the 20-year life of the project. These indicators are complemented by a sensitivity analysis that directly involves the price of copper and social indicators.
