The present research wants to seek the feasibility of implementing a consulting service specialized in copper-producing mining processes in Peru. The service will consist of 3 stages: Integral Diagnosis of the mining operation, Implementation of the improvement proposal and Monitoring of Results as an added value to the service provided. Nowadays, mining is considered one of the most important primary sectors of the country and it is also internalized as a sector that looks after its own interests, without considering the damage generated by its operations to its surrounding environment. This is reflected in the countless social conflicts that have been generated in recent decades. Although there are services that focus on resolving social conflicts that arise from this situation, why not avoid generating these conflicts by solving the critical points of the mining operation? At a market level, the demand will be composed of the number of mining companies that are categorized as small, medium, and large, which have administrative subsidiaries in the city of Lima and extract and sell Copper. The size of the service will be determined by the demand, since it determines resources needed and required investment. As for resources, the human resource is the most important resource (and the limiting factor) since the increase of this resource depends on the yearly demand increase. Then, after carrying out the present investigation, it is affirmed that the implementation of this service is viable in Peru, translating mainly in good economic-financial results for the evaluation period, as well as in the social benefits towards its most important stakeholders.
