This investigation had as a main objective to determine the water chlorination technology that is the most efficient, based on the functioning level according to the recharging periods, the facility of operation and maintenance and the cost analysis to supply the Peasant Community of Pillao Matao evaluated to the year 2017, and projected to the year 2027 principally based on the useful life of the elements of each technology, and so to be able to learn which technology is the one that shows a better efficiency for this community. It was also compared the residual free chlorine read on field with a simulation made on the assisted modeling software WarterCAD. To learn the efficiency of the evaluated chlorination technologies, which were: by Chlorinator, by Conventional Drip, by Adapted Drip and by Self Compensating Drip, we proceeded to evaluate the elements of the community’s Supply System and in some cases to condition some others. All of these was done in order to assure the necessary conditions to guarantee an optimal evaluation of each technology, guided by the parameters of the Regulation of Water Quality for Human Consumption DS N°031-2010-SA and the Guide of Technological Options for Water Supply Systems for Human Consumption and Sanitation in the Rural Ambit RM-173-2016-VIVIENDA. With the necessary conditions established, we proceeded to progressively set up and evaluate each one of the proposed technologies within the established ranks. Based on the obtained results for each technology and doing a comparison between them with a future projection, it was found that despite of not being the most economical, the chlorination technology by Self Compensating Drip is the most efficient technology among the evaluated. Additionally, and as a contribution to this thesis, we have seen convenient to evaluate a fifth technology that presents improvements to the defaults the ones originally evaluated. This is the Chlorination Technology by a Double Container Dripping with a Ring Filter, although is more expensive than the others, it proved a better efficiency.
