The main objective of this study is to determine the market, economic and financial viability for the implementation of an occupational health surveillance service for respiratory diseases in mining companies. A market study was carried out in which primary and secondary data were used. Through interviews with experts, it was found that occupational examinations are performed annually and consist of spirometry and chest radiography. With the application of these methods, it was possible to determine the demand of the project and its annual growth. Regarding the location, after evaluating three zones using different factors, it was found that the most feasible would be to locate an administrative office in the city of Lima in the district of San Isidro. On the other hand, it was defined that the project's capacity would be limited by the market it is intended to serve. According to the analysis carried out in the research, the project is economically and financially feasible, since it has, according to an economic evaluation, an economic VAN of 951 661.48 soles, an economic TIR of 30,66%, a Benefit-Cost ratio of 2,15 and a Recovery Period of 4,21 years. Likewise, in the results of the financial evaluation, a financial VAN of 1,050,915.16 soles was obtained, a financial TIR of 35,6%, a Benefit-Cost ratio of 4,18 and a Recovery Period of 4,24 years. Finally, the added value generated by the project would be 10 103 190,71 soles during the first five years of operation, which proves that the project has a positive impact on society.
