This project has an objective to determine the technical, economic, social and environmental viability of the installation of a plant for the production of energy bars made from peanut paste with maca flour and grains of quinoa and kiwicha. This product was chosen with the purpose of offering an option with high nutritional and energy ingredients. The energy bars will have the name of “Enertri” and its target audience are those people within socioeconomic levels of A and B, in the areas of Central Lima and West Lima, with ages between 18 to 55 years and who are physically active. It was determined that by the year of 2025 the demand will be 500 742 bars. For macro and micro location analysis, district of Villa El Salvador, in the province of Lima, was defined as the ideal location for the production plant. On the other hand, the plant´s size would be limited by the market, getting to be at 318 742 bars above the breakeven point. Likewise, there is the detailed description of the stages of the production process and the machines required for the elaboration, finding the capacity of each one. Similarly, it was established that the project would be formed by 14 employees, where 7 would be operators and the rest would be office personnel. Taking into consideration the areas needed in the plant and the necessary space for each one, there was obtained that the total area would be 507,33 m2. Regarding the investment for the project execution, the total amount was S/.914 227, where 70% would be finance with owner´s capital and the remaining 30% with long – term debt. Finally, considering the NPV of the economic evaluation: S/.377 115 and the financial evaluation: S/.381 001, the conclusion is that the project would yield profitable results.
