The present research entitled “Attachment styles and their relationship with psychomotor development in children aged 12 to 24 months, Manco Ccapac Cusco Health Center – 2023“, aimed to determine the relationship of attachment styles with psychomotor development in children aged 12 to 24 months of the Manco Cacac Health Center, Cusco – 2023. The research was descriptive, correlational and not experimental, a sample of 108 mothers with children aged 12 to 24 months from the Manco Ccapac Health Center was selected, since a probability sampling was chosen, the survey was used as a technique and the observation guide. The results of the research showed that attachment style is significantly related to psychomotor development in children aged 12 to 24 months of the Manco Ccapac Health Center, at 95% confidence using the Chi square statistical test, with a significance of P = 0.000 that is less than 0.05. Therefore, we accept the alternative hypothesis and reject the null hypothesis. Regarding the general characteristics of mothers with children aged 12 to 24 months, 64.8% are between 25 and 34 years old. Regarding attachment styles, 43.5% of children perform frequent vocalizations or intense crying, and in relation to psychomotor development, 69.4% have normal development, 28.7% are at risk and 1.9% show a delay. The dimensions of attachment styles are significantly related to psychomotor development.
