The objects of the Peruvian cultural heritage represent history and unique identity for our nation. These objects are sensitive to inappropriate environmental conditions so their care and conservation are important tasks. They are distributed in places that do not allow or facilitate the use of commercial environmental measurement devices, so there is no timely availability of the environmental conditions in which they are located. For these reasons, this work presents the design and implementation of a wireless sensor network where its nodes can operate in different places where the objects of Peruvian cultural heritage are located. The proposal considers requirements for long energy, reduced size, a wide set of sensors and internet connectivity without depending on the physical and technological infrastructure of the observed place. This system, made up of three devices, has Wi-Fi, GPRS and Bluetooth LowEnergy (BLE) connectivity. Its development resulted in a maximum volume of 119.81 cm3 and an autonomy of 8 months at a sampling rate of 30 minutes. In addition, the design of a robust and modular system allowed its continuous operation even with failures in wireless communications and give an efficient tool that simplifies the conservation work to the users.
