The development of small agriculture, which makes up 67% of the total agricultural population, is key to the growth of Peru's Total Productivity Factor. One of the ways to combat the deficiencies that small farmers face every day is by promoting forms of agricultural collaboration. In this sense, this thesis aims to identify the determinants and benefits of agricultural collaboration in key provinces of the Junín region. In this way, a design of public policies is carried out, in order to strengthen the forms of agrarian collaboration in the country. From the research, a suggestive statistical significance was obtained for 3 variables. Being exposed to weather risks and the farmer's perception of trust towards his peers positively influence the farmer's participation in the various forms of collaboration studied. On the contrary, it was found that having land title has a negative influence on the farmer's participation in the various forms of collaboration studied. Likewise, regarding the benefits of agricultural collaboration, it is concluded that the participation of farmers in the forms of agricultural collaboration studied allows them to obtain higher agricultural yields and improve the quality of the harvested product; in contrast to what happens with farmers who do not participate in any form of collaboration. Finally, the research proposes 4 public policies for the promotion and development of key aspects in the forms of collaboration. These are: promoting water groups, promoting access to new markets, promoting a digitalization strategy to connect farmers, and making visible success stories of agricultural organizations.
