The present research aims to analyze the behavior of a structure based only on cold-formed steel profiles, which includes a single-girder overhead crane, with a load capacity of five metric tons. This structure will be found in the constitutional province of Callao, Peru. And it will have the dimensions of 18 meters wide, 24 meters long, six meters high of the bridge crane with respect to the floor and a maximum ceiling height of nine meters, considering that the structure will have a gabled roof. The purpose of conducting this research is to demonstrate the advantages and behavior of cold-formed steel profiles, with respect to hot-rolled steel, in the application of main structural members of an industrial warehouse that contains a variable affected load. by the gravity inside. Additionally, the economic part or material costs, the reduction of weights of the structure, which, consequently, allows a faster project development or assembly. In the same way, to expand the scope of structures that contain loads affected by gravity in their interior, depending on the cold-formed steel. The calculation or verification of the members of the structure will be carried out under the AISI COLD STEEL FORMED S100 standard, in parallel, for the combinations and obtaining loads, the ASCE 7-16 standard will be considered and for the calculation of seismic loads and the verification of stability and rigidity of the structure, the Peruvian standard E.030. It should be considered that the design methodology will be under the LRFD method. And a structural simulation will also be carried out through the SAP2000 program, which, by means of a finite element analysis, will provide results of allowable stress ratios and maximum deformations of the structure.
