“EFFECT OF THE SUPPLEMENTATION WITH HEMINIC IRON IN FEMALE AGE WOMEN WHO WORK AT NAVAL BASE CALLAO, 2018.“ Anemia is one of the major nutritional disorders that affects vulnerable groups, including women of childbearing age (MEF) and is a serious public health problem in the country. The objective was to determine the effect of hemic iron supplementation in women of childbearing age who work at Naval Base of Callao, Methods and materials, peri experimental study in 15 anemic women who work in the Naval Base of Callao, longitudinal cut in 4 weeks Hematocrit and food intake were measured before and after the intervention performed with the consumption of 6 capsules (13.8 mg iron) and twice a week 30 g of blood (13 mg of iron). The applied statistics were t test and Wilcoxon signed rank for related samples. Results reduction of the prevalence of anemia in 73.3%, increase in the average hematocrit, and normal values of adequacy of dietary intake in energy, iron and vitamin C, consumption of blood, meat, fish and liver on a weekly basis.. Conclusions Heminic iron capsule supplementation and nutritional food education simultaneously significantly influence the reduction of iron deficiency anemia in anemic fertile women who work at the Callao Naval
