The present research focuses its objectives in the knowledge of the effectiveness of the application of an intervention program in calculation using technology tools, information and communication TIC, in students of the first grade of primary education of a national educational institution of the District of Ate-Vitarte, belonging to the UGEL N ° 06, of the province of Lima. The study sample consisted of 40 students from two sections (control group 1 “C“ and experimental group 1 “D“), each one had 20 students. To the second section was applied a program, designed for this research, using free software with a playful and didactic interface, while the other did not. However, both groups were given pre and postest, both before the program starts and after this is concluded. This research allowed to register the level of significance, of the calculation; considering the different quantities. In the non-parametric test of Mann-Whitney U, we obtain a value of 81.00 and a level of significance of 0.00, being this significant to .001, evidencing the increase in the achievement of mathematical abilities learning in the dimension of “solve calculations”, “write the additive add-in or complement“, “write the subtractive add-in“ and “solve subtraction problems“ except for the dimension of “make cardinal correspondences“, “count, sort and identify numbers“, “read and write numbers“ and “solve addition problems“. In the chapters of this thesis, the subject that is the reason of the present investigation will be developed in more detail.
