This research verified the effect of the Argumentum Program based on the Flipped Learning model on the writing of texts with argumentative purposes in 4th grade secondary school students of a national educational institution belonging to UGEL 05. This study corresponds to a quantitative approach, at an explanatory level, of an applied type because it has a quasi-experimental design. The sample selected for this research was made up of a group of 60 students distributed in an experimental group (30) and a control group (30), through intentional non-probabilistic sampling. The experimental group participated in an educational intervention program that lasted 24 weeks. The instrument was a rubric for evaluating argumentative texts, both validated through expert judgment. The results obtained, with pretest and posttest, indicated that the implementation had a positive effect in five dimensions: adaptation to the significant situation, coherence, cohesion, argumentative capacity and punctuation; however, no significant contribution was identified in the dimension called formal aspects of language.
