The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between resilience and perceived social support in a group of older adults housed in a care center in Metropolitan Lima that cares for homeless people. The design was quantitative correlational. The sample consisted of 36 men whose ages ranged from 60 to 89 years old, the sampling method was non-probabilistic and intentional. For the corresponding purposes, two psychometric instruments were used: the Resilience Scale of Wagnild and Young (1993) adapted by Novella (2022) and the Mos Questionnaire of Perceived Social Support of Sherbourne and Stewart (1991) adapted by Baca (2016). The findings showed that there is a low and non-significant positive correlation between Resilience and Perceived Social Support; it is shown that perseverance is a representative area in the studied sample. On the other hand, it is shown that there is no significant difference between resilience according to educational level, but there is in terms of perceived social support in relation to instrumental and informational support.
