Abstract: La parálisis cerebral es una de las condiciones más frecuentes que afectan al neurodesarrollo. Las causas y los factores de riesgos son variados, en algunos casos no se conoce la causa. Al ser una condición que afecta al cerebro en desarrollo, va a estar asociada a múltiples dificultades, la dificultad más evidente es el problema motor, también se presentan dificultades sensoriales, de lenguaje y de comunicación, de aprendizaje, de conducta y de socialización que impiden que el niño con parálisis cerebral pueda integrarse adecuadamente dentro de un aula de clase. Las adaptaciones de acceso, de metodología de materiales y recursos, de tiempo, de evaluación entre otras van a permitir que el docente pueda favorecer la inclusión de los estudiantes afectados por este tipo de discapacidad. Considerando las dificultades en diversas áreas se plantean un conjunto de estrategias que pueden ser consideradas por el docente para abordar al estudiante con parálisis cerebral.
Cerebral palsy is one of the most frequent conditions that affect neurodevelopment. The causes and risk factors are varied; in some cases, the cause is not known. Being a condition that affects the developing brain, cerebral palsy willbe associated with multiple difficulties, the most obvious difficulty is the motor problem, there are also sensory difficulties, language and communication, learning, behavior and socialization that prevent the child with cerebral palsy can be properly integrated into a classroom. Adaptations of access, methodology of materials and resources, time, evaluation among others will allow the teacher to favor the inclusion of students affected by this type of disability. Considering the difficulties in different areas, a set of strategies that can be considered by the teacher to approach the student with cerebral palsy are considered.
