Abstract: El proyecto desarrollado es un centro acuático de alto rendimiento; en el cual se albergara zonas para la práctica, preparación y competición de deportes acuáticos; natación, saltos ornamentales, nado sincronizado y waterpolo. La infraestructura cumplirá con todas las normas de la Federación Internacional de
Natación (FINA) y se convierta en un hito de la arquitectura deportiva moderno en nuestro país. La unión del centro acuático y del centro de alto rendimiento busca contribuir con el desarrollo de la comunidad aportando deportistas de elite, los cuales serán entrenados física y psicológicamente para que participen en los diversos torneos y eventos nacionales e internacionales logrando consolidar así los deportes acuáticos como carrera deportiva de alto nivel.
La edificación buscara utilizar materiales y sistemas amigables con el medio ambiente tales como el ETFE, el cual será la cobertura del centro acuático. Siendo este un material ligero y transparente dará la sensación de una envoltura de burbujas además otorgara confort al usuario y aportara sostenibilidad al proyecto.
The project developed is a high performance aquatic center; which will house areas for the practice, preparation and competition of water sports; swimming, diving, artistic swimming and water polo. The infrastructure will comply with all the rules of the International Swimming Federation (FINA) and become a milestone of modern sports architecture in our country. The union of the aquatic center and the high performance center seeks to contribute to the development of the community by providing elite athletes, who will be trained physically and psychologically to participate in the various tournaments and national and international events thus consolidating water sports as high level sports career. The building will seek to use materials and systems friendly to the environment such as the ETFE, which will be the coverage of the aquatic center. Being this a light and transparent material it will give the feeling of a bubble wrap, it will also grant comfort to the user and will contribute sustainability to the project.
