Razonamiento deductivo y procrastinación académica según variables sociodemográficas en estudiantes de una institución educativa de Surco

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el razonamiento deductivo y la procrastinación académica, según variables sociodemográficas en estudiantes de una Institución Educativa de Surco. El diseño utilizado fue no experimental de tipo transversal comparativo correlacional. Los instrumentos aplicados fueron: The Cornell Class-Reasoning Test, Form X y la Escala de Procrastinación Académica (EPA). La muestra estuvo conformada por estudiantes de 3°, 4° y 5° año de secundaria haciendo un total de 255 alumnos. Los resultados obtenidos indican que el 45% y 50% de la población presenta un nivel promedio en cuanto a la procrastinación académica y razonamiento deductivo respectivamente. Existe una relación positiva, pero no significativa entre el razonamiento deductivo y la procrastinación académica según las variables sociodemográficas.

The objective of this investigation was to determine the relationship between deductive reasoning and academic procrastination, according to sociodemographic variables in students of Educational Institution of Surco. The design used was non-experimental of comparative cross-correlational type. The instruments applied were: The Cornell Class-Reasoning Test, Form X and the Academic Procrastination Scale (EPA). The sample was conformed by students of 3rd, 4th and 5th year of secondary making a total of 255 students. The results obtained indicate that 45% and 50% of the population presents an average level in terms of academic procrastination and deductive reasoning, respectively. There is a positive but not significant relationship between deductive reasoning and academic procrastination according to sociodemographic variables.
