Oral production is a vital linguistic skill that a student needs to develop to achieve language proficiency. Therefore, in our context, where English has become a lingua franca, giving access to better opportunities, oral production in that language needs to be favored by using an innovative and dynamic pedagogical approach like flipped learning. Based on this, this research seeks to analyze the perception about the oral production of the students of the English 5 course (level B2 in the CEFR), developed under the flipped learning approach at a private university in Lima. This qualitative research with a descriptive scope included the participation of a sample of 15 university students who have studied the complete English program, for whom an in-depth interview technique was applied. The results were processed using the ATLAS.ti software. It was found that students identified an improvement in their oral production, mainly in their pronunciation. The use of the flipped learning approach helped students become protagonists of their own learning, favoring the development of collaborative activities within the process of oral communication in English. In addition, the participants recognized the need to strengthen key aspects such as fluency, grammar, and vocabulary by generating a greater commitment to the development of asynchronous activities and greater interaction in the English language.
