The nature of science constitutes the main component of the scientific literacy that is so in demand today for understanding the problems of today's society and making informed and responsible decisions. Developing an adequate nature of science is, therefore, especially relevant for future teachers, since they will be responsible for bringing science closer to students. The present investigation sought to systematize experiences about the nature of science to reflect on the paradigm shift that it fosters in teacher training. The methodology used corresponds to the qualitative approach, framed in the design of systematization of experiences, by which 10 teacher training students specializing in primary education from an institution in Lima - Peru were monitored during four study cycles. Instruments such as questionnaires, individual interview guide, structured observation guide for presentation of work, and anecdotal record were used, carried out within the framework of the Science and Technology course that they took as part of their professional training. The systematization of experiences has shown that the treatment of epistemic and non-epistemic aspects of the nature of science in an explicit and reflective manner fosters the conditions for a paradigm shift to occur, giving future teachers a more complete vision of science. science and a greater repertoire for your work in the classroom with your own students.
