The purpose of the research was to determine the effects of the HERVAT neuroeducational program on the acquisition of early mathematical competence in five-year-old students from a state educational institution in San Martín de Porres. The methodology used had a quantitative approach of an experimental type, with a quasi-experimental design and an explanatory causal level. The sample consisted of 18 students: 10 girls and 8 boys of initial level. The instrument used was the Early Mathematical Assessment Test as a pre and post test. The results of the post-test showed that the students to whom the HERVAT neuroeducational program was applied achieved the proposed objectives of early mathematical competencies, reaching a p value of 0.000 <0.05 in the Mann Whitney U statistical test. In relation to the dimensions of the comparison concept (p value 0.001 <0.05), classification (p value 0.000 <0.05), one-to-one correspondence (p value 0.000 <0.05), seriation (p value 0.000 <0.05), verbal count (p value 0.002 <0.05), structured (p value 0.001 <0.05), result (p value 0.000 <0.05); as well as general knowledge of the numbers (p value 0.001 <0.05) it is expressed that the significance value by the Mann Whitney U Test was p value <0.05. Therefore, it is accepted that there are significant differences between the control and experimental group after the application of the HERVAT Neuroeducational Program in the experimental group.
