This thesis proposes an architectural project for an Archaeological Museum and Research Center based on the history of north central Peru, as the nucleus of a concentrating axis of the existing archaeological remains and of those that will continue to be discovered. Huarmey was chosen because in 2012 it witnessed the discovery of a large number of archaeological objects in an intact pre-inca mausoleum, which consisted of more than 1200 pieces in gold, silver, and precious stones. This archaeological museum was born as a proposal to safeguard the invaluable archaeological remains of Huarmey and fulfill its basic functions, located in the southern part of the city, and Biophilic Architecture techniques will be applied in its design. The proposed infrastructure is: spacious rooms with overhead light entry, and side vents. The rooms are located sequentially, surrounded by water mirrors and terraces and gardens for outdoor exhibitions. Additionally, the realization of this project based on cultural and natural identity, through education and cultural contribution, accelerates the development of the city, providing the visitor with information through an attractive, nutritious and profitable route.
