The chronic renal insufficiency is a systematic illness where buccal alterations can be present and many of these infeccious processes can be discarded on the patient as a candidadte for a transplant if an integral treatments is not given. The objective of the study is to identify the buccal alternations that are present in the patients with Chronic Renal Insufficiency hemodialysis in the Nacional Adolfo Guevara Velasco Hospital; as well as identifying the buccal alternations at glandular level, at soft tissue, at periodontal, at dental tissue and establish the influence of future variables in production of buccal alternations: Age, sex, index of glomerular filtration, time of hemodialysis, etiology of the illness. The study is quantitative, descriptive, observatory, transversal and prospective. preformed on 97 patients in which the results are the following: “Halitosis 97.9%, paleness of the mucous 96.9%, xerostomia 92.8%, dysgeusia 90.7%, bacterial plaque 80.4%, dental cavities 71.1%, dental erosion 59.8%, periodontal disease 57.7%, dental mobility 54.6%, periodontal bag 42.2%, gingival hyperplasia 23.7%, uremic stomatitis 6.2%, gingival bleeding 1.0% and petechiae and ecchymosis 1.0%”. It’s been established the influence of moderatore variables in relation to buccal alternations: sex of the patient, 54.6%(53) are males, and 45.4%(44) are females. it excists a relation bwetween age, etiological illnecess like diabetes and/or arterial hypertension are of 56.7% which leads to CRI. Time of hemodyalisis has a relation with “The xerostomía (𝑝=0.010), dysgeusia (𝑝=0.002), cavities (𝑝=0.016) and dental erosion (𝑝=0.007)” and the index of glomerular filtration of the patients, has a relation with “the xerostomia (𝑝=0.004), dysgeusia (p=0.007), halitosis (𝑝=0.006), petechiae – ecchymosis (𝑝=0.003), paleness of the mucous (𝑝=0.038) and uremic stomatitis (𝑝=0.044)”.
