Objective: To compare the mesiodistal diameter of incisors and canines in patients aged 12-18 years of the Luis Vallejo Santoni Cusco 2016-I Stomatological Clinic with the parameters of dental aurea established by Levin. Material and methods: The study is observational, field, transverse and prospective, the sample were 50 patients aged 12 to 18 years female and male of the Luis Vallejo Santoni Cusco stomatologic clinic. The measurements of the dental pieces were taken clinically in each patient with a digital caliper, where the mesio-distal width was measured (the greater distance between the mesial and distal sides of the parts viewed from the front), taking as reference the middle third mesio- distal of each piece. In the case of the canines the mesial measurement of the piece will be taken, taking into account an imaginary perpendicular line. Results: The comparison of the mesiodistal diameter with the parameters proposed by Levin in patients of both sexes determined that there is a significant difference of 1.52 mm in the lateral incisors and 0.63 mm in the mesial half of the canines. Conclusion: Measures taken clinically in all patients of both sexes are bigger than those proposed by Levin. The golden ratio was not found.
