The main objective of the present investigation is to analyze how much the magnitudes of the mechanical properties differ: Compression resistance, modulus of elasticity and resistance to bending, of a concrete with dosage f'c = 210 kg / cm2, a concrete reinforced with 20 kg / m3 of DRAMIX® 3D steel fibers and reinforced concrete with 20 kg / m3 of DRAMIX® 4D steel fibers, evaluated after 28 days. Cylindrical (briquettes) and prismatic (joists) concrete specimens, cured for 28 days, were made, to which they were subjected to the tests of Compression Resistance, Modulus of Elasticity and Resistance to Bending according to ASTM C39, ASTM standards. C469 and ASTM C78 correspondingly. At the end of the investigation, of the three properties analyzed (Compressive Strength, Modulus of Elasticity and Flexural Resistance) it is concluded that the concrete added with Dramix 3D and 4D steel fibers have an increase in the magnitudes of their mechanical properties With respect to the concrete pattern, therefore, they have a better mechanical behavior. Affirming that an increase in flexural strength was obtained by 15% for concrete added with 20 kg / m3 of DRAMIX® 3D steel fibers and an increase of 17% for concrete added with 20 kg / m3 of steel fibers DRAMIX® 4D, both with respect to the standard concrete standard dosage. Which these results are favorable for a design of rigid pavements.
