The present investigation had as main objective to know what is “the relationship that exists between the resources directly collected by traffic violation with the budget execution of the Provincial Municipality of Cusco, 2018-2019“. It has been developed using a basic type methodology, quantitative approach, non-experimental design and descriptive scope. The documentary analysis technique was applied and the documentary analysis guide as an instrument, taking into account that the population and sample were made up of the budget documents of the years 2018 and 2019; which were obtained from the General Planning, Budget and Investment Office. Formulating as a hypothesis that the resources for traffic violations are significantly related to the budgetary execution of income and expenses in the Provincial Municipality of Cusco, 2018-2019. Regarding the bibliographic review and analysis carried out, the results showed that the amounts of resources directly collected for traffic violations in the Provincial Municipality of Cusco, 2018-2019 had an increase in the study period, going from S/ 6,729,885.50 in 2018 to S/ 8,506,372.80 in 2019; On the other hand, the budget execution also registered improvements ranging from S/ 145,950,339 with an advance of 70.5% in 2018 to S/ 158,563,917 with an advance of 75.8% in 2019. Concluding that there is a positive relationship between the resources directly collected for traffic violations and the budget execution of the Provincial Municipality of Cusco, 2018-2019, considering that there was an increase in the collection of resources directly collected for traffic violations.
