The research entitled “Attitude towards blood donation in the Students of the Professional School of Nursing of the Universidad Andina del Cusco, year 2018“ had as objective to determine the attitude towards the blood donation in the Students of the Professional School of Nursing of the Andean University of Cusco. The methodological design was descriptive, transversal. The sample taken for this study was made up of 114 students from the Professional School of Nursing. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire. RESULTS 30.7% of the students have ages in the range of 20-22 years, 93.8% are female, 75.4% are of Catholic religion, 97.3% are single, and 31.5% come from the district of Cusco. The attitude toward blood donation in the cognitive component, 45.6% showed that donating blood is a valuable and necessary act, 50.9% indicated that the act of donating blood is useful for their profession. Regarding the affective component, 43.9% indicated that donating blood makes you feel better, 28.1% affirm that religious beliefs go against blood donation. In the behavioral component, 30.7% say they do not agree that only blood is donated to know the state of health in which it is, 29.8% say they do not agree that only blood is donated in case of emergency. The results show that 88% of the students present a regular attitude toward blood donation.
