In the present work we seek to highlight the value of the implementation of the Lean Construction philosophy and the planning of control tools such as Ahead and Last Planner in the construction projects so that we can combine both tools to achíeve a better control system for key processes. We know as a key process those processes that differ from the others due to their repercussion in the time and cost of the projects. At each initial stage of a project, planning must be carried out, which is a very important stage, where the main objectives appear, key processes, the main constraints and the integration of each work area will allow the identification of the scope of the project, the deadlines, the costs, the management and monitoring of key activities, the quality, the safety, the control and improvement of each process taken to work. For this case we are going to take into account a building project carried out by the real estate company Cosapi S.A. which uses the planning tools and the BIM technology for the development of the project. On the other hand, with the help of the Last Planner it will be possible to follow up and control the development of each process and stage, it will be possible to measure the progress of the schedule, identify those processes that do not contribute with productivity and propose an improvement, give alerts to the different areas of the project to they justify and commit to lifting the observations given by this control system, collaborate with the production area notifying the percentage of activities completed on the day, on week and on month, and allow with the help of BIM software capture the Look Ahead and show the progress of all the work supervising it every week. AII the data shown have been taken from the project, and to give a better sense of what has been achieved, a cost analysis has been carried out for each process, classified and considered in the work plan of the project.
