Due to the rapid growth of the automobile fleet and the poor improvement of the physical conditions of the cities, vehicular congestion has become one of the main urban problems, which is why road and urban planning are of the utmost importance today. The main objective of this research thesis was to analyze the traffic conditions in the road corridor of the 3S national highway, which starts from the Kayra sector to the Huasao sector, passing through Saylla. With the data obtained, the road capacity and service level calculation was calculated based on the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM 2010) which is incorporated into the Synchro 8.0 microsimulation software, this software allowed us to simulate these intersections in its Actual state. The analysis of this route was made considering that this section is already defined as a semi-urban sector, having transversal accesses that define the intersections. For this reason, an analysis was made based on these delays generated by the intersections, as well as the reduction of the speed of circulation.
