Determine the existence and relationship between Molar Incisor Hypomineralization and Dental Caries, in primary level students of the I.E.P.M Nº. 60008 “Amada Pérez de Gómez” of the Iquitos district and the I.E.P.M Nº. 61015 “La Inmaculada” of the Punchana district – 2023. Method: The study was quantitative, observational, cross sectional, prospective, correlational in design. Whose sample was 162 students. Results: In the study, a greater prevalence was found in 12-year-old students 33.3%; The male sex predominated 82.7%; The origin with the highest percentage was the Punchana district 68.5%; The grade with the highest percentage was fifth grade 48.8%; In relation to the DMFT index, the data obtained was very high 43.8%; There was a high prevalence of caries 92%; Regarding HMI according to the degree of severity: mild 32.3%, moderate 22.3%; presenting a high prevalence of hypomineralization in molars and incisors 90.2%; Regarding the relationship of the variables, of the students who presented HMI, 87.1% presented cavities, and 4.9% did not present; The Chi square test is shown, with a X2c= 42.381; p= 0.000 < 0.05. Conclusion: It was found that there is a relationship between molar incisor hypomineralization and dental caries in primary level students of State Educational Centers, in the districts of Iquitos and Punchana.
