An investigation was carried out whose main objective was to determine the relationship that exists between certain biopsychosocial factors such as age, family support, relationship with the couple, with the levels of postpartum depression in adolescent mothers admitted to the Hospital “Cesar Garayar García”, Iquitos. The Zung Depression Scale, duly validated and reliable for our setting, was used to assess levels of depression. The sample consisted of 28 adolescents in postpartum condition hospitalized in the aforementioned hospital center; non-probabilistic sampling of intentional or criterial type selected them. It was a descriptive explanatory study, of a comparative level that applied the Student's “t“ Ratio, that is, it had a quantitative parametric approach, with a non-experimental design, and cross-sectional. The statistical procedure was carried out by the SPSS Version 25 Program and the Excel 365 Program. The study reached the following conclusions: 1) Adolescent mothers who receive family support have lower levels of depression (25.79) than adolescent mothers who lack support family, which present higher levels of depression (39.50); 2) Adolescent mothers who maintain a positive relationship with their partner present lower levels of depression (24.35) than adolescent mothers who do not maintain a positive relationship with their partner, who present higher levels of depression (44.64); 3) Teenage mothers who are older on average have lower levels of depression (24.07) than adolescent mothers who are younger on average, who have higher levels of depression (45.00). The conclusions and respective recommendations were raised and the respective tables and statistical graphs were prepared.
