Objective: To determine the clinical and epidemiological factors related to extractions of third molars in two hospitals in the city of Iquitos, during the year 2023. Methodology: The sample consisted of a total of 132 patients seen for third molar extraction at the Dental outpatient clinic. The study is quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, prospective, correlational according to its planning and number of variables. Result: They show that 50.8% (67) are from the Hospital Iquitos “Cesar Garayar García“ and 49.2% (65) are from the Regional Hospital of Loreto “Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias“. We found that in the age group, the most frequent population was the group between 18 to 25 years with 47.7% (63), followed by the group of 26 to 35 years with 28.8%; According to the epidemiological factors found, it was determined that 95.5% (126) of patients had no comorbidity, with respect to the location of teeth as clinical factors, the most frequent was the lower jaw with 79.5% (105) and the upper jaw had 20. 5% (27), it was also determined that one of the most frequent causes is the impacted tooth with 25% (33), in Winter's classification another clinical determinant factor for third molar extractions is the Mesioangulated with 42.4% (56) and Pell and Gregory which, within the upper, classification A, had 8. In accordance with the complexity, it was determined that there IS a significant relationship between age and the complexity of third molar extractions. Conclusions: If there is a clinical and epidemiological relationship with respect to third molar extractions.
