The poor quality of housing, the relationship with the urban environment and the excessive production of waste that pollutes the environment affect the quality of life of the population in some sectors of the city. The current construction model is based on cost reduction, but does not respond to the needs of the population. From architecture it is possible to improve the quality of life and the conditions of the environment through a proposal for Comprehensive Urban Improvement aimed at the inhabitants of the Francisco Secada Vignetta Human Settlement due to their needs that will improve habitability conditions and quality of life of the user through physical-spatial, socio-economic and environmental strategies. At present there are several programs focused on improving the quality of life, but not focused on the eco-neighborhood criteria, therefore this project is focused on Introducing the meaning of permaculture, that is, a design system focused on the sustainable use of the land to achieve a sustainable life. Interaction with the urban environment in a sustainable manner through a new housing prototype with a productive approach with areas of public spaces and facilities, articulated with the rest of the city, which allows its users to carry out socioeconomic and environmental activities based on eco-neighborhood criteria. It is also intended to revitalize the Human Settlement through an urban treatment that is adapted to the infrastructure of the sector, thus generating social ties and participatory democracy of the population in the design process that will be strengthened based on the eco-neighborhood criteria in the Human Settlement. , Saint John Baptist.
