The present investigation started from the problem: Is requiring a certain clothing to enter a public institution protected by law? And the objective was: To explain if demanding a certain clothing to enter a public institution is protected by law. The technique used was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire. The population was made up of the citizens of the Province of Maynas. The design that was used was non-experimental of the transactional-correlational type. For the statistical analysis, descriptive statistics were used, for the study of the variables independently and to demonstrate the hypotheses, the parametric chi-square test (x2) was used. The results indicated that: In national domestic law, there is no regulation that indicates what clothing must be used to enter a state public entity and that with this action the right that no one should be discriminated against due to protected clothing is violated. in numeral 2 of article 2 of the Political Constitution of Peru.
