Introduction: EOC is currently part of reproductive health programs, they are indicated when women have unprotected sex, incorrect use or failure of family planning methods and in case of rape or coercive sex. Objective: To establish the relationship between the level of knowledge and the use of emergency oral contraception in technical nursing students of the IESTP “Gabriela Porto de Power“, 2022. Methodology: The present investigation was of a non-experimental quantitative type, with a descriptive and correlational design; with a population made up of 175 students of the 5th and 6th semesters of Technical Nursing of the IESTP “Gabriela Porto de Power“ 2022 and a sample of 120 students who met the selection criteria. Results: The predominant level of knowledge about emergency oral contraception in technical nursing students of the IESTP “Gabriela Porto de Power“ was of a good type, however, its use was lower in the study sample; In the Sociodemographic characteristics, a greater predominance was found in the ages between 20 and 30 years, followed by single, with urban origin and Catholic religion, in the sexual characteristics, the respondents reported having a partner, began sexually and indicated after 15 years. Conclusion: A statistically significant relationship (p=0.001) was found between the level of knowledge and use of emergency oral contraception in the study participants.
