To determine the prevailing leadership styles in pilot personnel of Grupo Aéreo 42 of the city of Iquitos, the instrument “Leadership Assessment“ was used, prepared and applied by Carrasco Gonzales and Mesías Córdova (2019). The population was 72 officers from Group 42 FAP, city of Iquitos. The study sample was 41 officers of the pilot specialty. The type of sampling was non-parametric of the intentional type. The indicated instruments were applied to the sample. Regarding leadership management, the following descriptions were found: “They can better understand subordinates“ and “They are more loyal to their institution“. To describe the relationships of the leaders with their institution, the phrase was used: “They sacrifice more for their institutions.“
