he present study aims to analyze the perception of laptop importers from China under the national subheading 8471.30.00.00 regarding the categories of risks in international logistics during the period 2019 to 2023 in Peru. Under a qualitative approach, applied and descriptive in scope, the grounded theory design was used to explore the perceptions of 16 participants, including heads of import areas, managers of importing companies, logistics operators and experts in the logistics field. Data collection was done through semi-structured interviews, following a specific guide, and their analysis was carried out with ATLAS.ti software. The results showed that the risks associated with timeliness, costs and losses in international logistics negatively affect the operations of importing companies. Transportation and customs delays impact delivery times and inventories. Logistics costs increase due to fluctuations and unexpected cost overruns. In addition, damage and loss of merchandise generate contractual conflicts and loss of confidence in the supply chain. In conclusion, these risks have limited operational efficiency and the ability of companies to respond in an agile manner to the demands of the global market. In addition, they have exposed critical vulnerabilities in logistics management, compromising the sustainability and competitiveness of the country's import sector.
