Knowledge about biosafety measures is an accumulation of objective organized information that the health professional counts to reduce the danger. On the other hand, biosafety attitudes are the behavior that an individual presents in the face of a sudden event, with a probability of acquiring a transmissible infection due to exposure to biological fluids such as blood, tissue, or other body fluids. That is why obstetric professionals are exposed to several health risks as they carry out their work. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge and attitude regarding biosafety measures of obstetrics professionals at the Regional Hospital of Loreto. Methodology: It is a quantitative study of descriptive type of correlational level, with prospective data collection. We worked with all the obstetrics professionals that make a total of 40. Results: Of a total of 40 obstetrics professionals from the Loreto Regional Hospital, it was found that 52.5% (n=21) of the obstetrics professionals have a high level of knowledge, 82.5% (n=33) of obstetrics professionals have a favorable attitude and that the level of knowledge is not significantly related to the attitude of obstetrics professionals regarding biosafety measures. Conclusion: More than half of obstetrics professionals have a high level of knowledge and a favorable attitude towards biosafety measures. However, the level of knowledge and attitude are not related to each other.
